A skein of yarn is yarn that is rolled into a loose, oblong-shaped twist, and is often referred to as “one unit” of yarn. We also have a limited supply of California Red Sheep wool roving. This is a beautiful, natural oatmeal color wool with red hair fibers running through it. Many fiber artists comment that when they dye the roving, the hairs in the roving pick up a different contrast of the dye, giving the fiber a unique look. The roving is sold by the ounce.
